Twenty-eight lectures Freud gave at the University of Vienna in 1915 to 1917, published as his fullest general account of psychoanalysis for non-specialists. The first part treats slips of the tongue and other everyday errors, the second the interpretation of dreams, and the third the theory of the neuroses, including the sexual origins of symptoms, the unconscious, transference and the aims of analytic therapy.
